RULES AND REGULATION



GENERAL REGULATIONS:-


Revised ID/Escort Pass Regulations:

1. At the start of each session, students receive individual Identity Cards, while parents are issued Escort Passes for school pick-ups and bus stops.
2. The Identity Card must be worn by the students every day.
3. The parents must ensure that they bring the Escort Pass when they come to pick up their child in the school or at a bus stop.
4. No student is allowed to go home during school hours. In case of emergency either of the parents or their representative with a valid Escort Pass issued by the school has to come personally to take the child.
5. Loss of Identity Card/Escort Pass must be reported immediately to the school.
6. New Identity Card/Escort Pass will be issued on payment of Rs. 100/- each.

ATTENDANCE & ABSENTEE REGULATIONS:-

1. Every student is expected to maintain an attendance record of at least 80 percent during the academic year failing which he/she may not be allowed to take the examination.
2. A proper leave application must be submitted in writing by the parent to the Principal in case of absence from the school. A sample format for the same is given in the Student Daybook.
3. Long Leave is not permitted, but in the case of emergency, prior sanction by the Principal is mandatory.
4. The name of a student may be struck off the rolls of the school in case of his/her continued absence without leave for : six consecutive days for the student studying in Grade IX to XII and ten consecutive days for a student studying in all other classes.
5. Re-admission may be granted only at the discretion of the Principal.

UNIFORM AND PERSONAL HYGIENE REGULATIONS:-

1. All the students are supposed to wear school uniform when attending the school, Parent-Educator Meet, school celebrations as well as while representing the school at functions outside school.
2. All the students are required to wear only the prescribed school uniform. No modification to the uniform is allowed.
3. All the students wearing the school uniform are supposed to ensure that their shirts are tucked in their trousers at all times.
4. Students are expected to keep their appearance neat and tidy.
5. For boys, the hair must be neat, short, simple and properly combed.
6. For girls, long hair must be plaited or tied up neatly and accessories like hair clips and their bands must be black.
7. Nails must be kept short and clean.
8. Students should wear their winter uniform (full sleeved shirt) from 1st November and Blazers from 1st December.
9. Sikh students who wear turban should wear a Navy Blue colour one (same as trousers) with regular uniform and White with the Tracksuit.

TRANSPORT REGULATIONS:-

1. Transport Charges are to be paid for 11 months excluding the month of June. This rule is applicable to students joining in April right from the beginning of the session. However, in case a student opts for transport after April, transport charges for the whole month of joining will be payable.
2. The list of stoppages is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all the commuters. Therefore, buses will not stop according to individual convenience.
3. All the students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus. Buses will not wait for latecomers.
4. Parents are required to pick up the child from the designated stop. In case the parent/guardian/caretaker is not there to receive the child with Escort Pass, the driver is instructed to bring the child back to the school.
5. In case of a change in route or destination, please inform the school transport authorities in writing to facilitate efficient planning. Please inform us in advance because drivers are not authorized or permitted to take these decisions.
6. Please avoid calling drivers directly as the mobile phones given to them are for emergencies only and they are not permitted to use them while driving.
7. Students will be held responsible for any damage caused to the bus by their negligence or vandalism. The transport authorities of the school will look into the matter and decide the penalty to be imposed.
8. On receiving a complaint against a student causing indiscipline or being disobedient to the bus staff, his/her bus facility is liable to be withdrawn.
9. Parents should drop their children outside the bus and should not board the school bus.
10. Parents are requested not to make any complaint to the bus driver or conductor but report the matter to the transport in-charge in writing.
11. Please ensure that you understand the transport rules and encourage your child to follow them to enable the smooth running and safety of the transport system.

TRANSPORT REGULATIONS:-


SCHOOL TRANSPORT:

Parents are requested to take careful note of the following :
1. In case a parent wants to withdraw school transport facility for his/her ward, a prior written application duly noted by the transport in-charge should be submitted in the school office at least one month before the actual date of withdrawal.
2. Transport Charges for the month of withdrawal are to be paid. Any request for withdrawal from the back date will not be entertained.
